Are you feeling Stressed? This is what you can do about it!

You find yourself chewing your nails while you are watching Netflix. You sleep and turn all night only to find out it is dawn! Your eating habits have changed with you resorting to junk and fast food every day. You stay stressed out about your progress at work – and find yourself procrastinating till the deadline is almost up! Your bills are piling up and you have no idea how to combat your financial woes alone.

You are getting more tired, restless and anxious all the time, which is ultimately resulting in poor managerial issues and intense workload. To help you relieve your stress, we have mentioned 3 tips that we believe are easy and worth the risk!

1) Try Exercising to kick off a Better Routine

We understand how you are constantly fatigued all the time – but if you give into your sedentary routine, you might become a couch potato for life! Nobody is telling you to subscribe to a gym membership and chug protein shakes for all three meals of the day. Try dedicating 15 minutes of your day to a simple cardio workout or yoga regimen instead! Stretch your limbs or go for a healthy jog early in the morning. Slowly and gradually, you can also hit the gym and train your body for intense workouts!

The ultimate goal here is to keep the old blood pumping in your body, so that you feel refreshed and invigorated. Plus, when you start working out, your body releases ‘happy hormones’ also known as endorphins so that you feel energetic and ‘good all over’. Exercising also helps to reduce the level of stress hormones or cortisol in your blood, allowing you to sleep better and feel rested in the longer run.

2) CBD Oil for Reducing Anxiety

We all know what you are thinking about – and no, CBD Oil does not give you the ‘high’ that is well associated with marijuana and hemp products. CBD or cannabidiol is a cannabinoid present in hemp products that does not alter your behavior or consciousness and is not at all harmful to ingest. In other words, it is not psychotropic as compared to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a cannabinoid that alters your mood and perception.

As per a survey, CBD Oil was not only found to improve the symptoms of epilepsy and schizophrenia, but also anxiety and sleep disorders as well! The same study also found that the effects of CBD in reducing anxiety were not only better but well-tolerated by the body in contrast to psychiatric medications. Another placebo study found CBD Oil to be efficient in reducing at least 40% of pain in the concerned patients.

CBD helps to create an aura of relaxation within your body without affecting your mental or physical health. Not only will you feel relieved and rested, but also pumped up for your day’s pending tasks.

3) Never Compromise on your Sleep

You go to bed, all tired and fatigued, hoping that you will doze off the moment your head hits the pillow. But, all you do is twist and turn till 3 am in the morning until sleep finally kicks in, making it harder to wake up for work after a deep slumber for a few hours! While maintaining a good routine might help you to straighten out your circadian rhythm, it might become a little too hard to reverse the clock if you are stressed out.

Thanks to technology, we are surrounded by devices and applications that can help you dive into a deep slumber without having to worry about work the next day. Take Dodow, for instance, a wireless device that projects blue light for 8 to 20 minutes periodically as it syncs with your breathing to help you doze off. All you need to do is put it on your bedside table and touch its surface to activate it. Dodow is known for helping you tone down your breathing so that you can calm yourself by fixating your thoughts on the hypnotic blue projection.

4) When in Doubt, WRITE!

We tend to feel more stressed out because we keep on overthinking about our problems instead of looking for solutions. The anxious mind can barely help to solve your problems in all of the clutter! To get rid of the distress, keep a journal with you at all times, and write to your heart’s content. Start scribbling and doodling, and slowly build your pace by venting out in your journal every day. By writing all that is going in your mind, you might be able to seek the solutions to your problems with an improved perception and better clarity.

We believe the above-mentioned tips will help you alter your routine and help you worry less about all that is happening around you. Always remember – you have to face the music all on your lonesome! It is good to go out for a couple of drinks and slack off once in a while, but try prioritizing your tasks to adjust your routine eventually.
