The company is the leading provider of telehealth services that allow its customers to use phone, mobile devices and secure online video to connect with the more than 3,100 board-certified, state-licensed physicians and behavioral health specialists, 24/7. According to Teladoc, the combined offering has significantly increased its utilization.
This is because the Accolade platform is designed to improve customer engagement levels, with an on-demand healthcare concierge for employers, health plans and health systems. The solution the company has created guides members through the healthcare system in a manner that is personal, which has resulted in better health outcomes, cost savings of more than 10 percent and, according to Accolade, satisfaction scores previously unseen in healthcare.

Both companies are going to be using their health tech to combine one-on-one personal interactions so members can understand all of their options and the benefits available to them to receive the best possible care. The technology integrates mobile applications, search tools, member portals and customer analytics portals to deliver a comprehensive platform for members and administrators.
