HealthCrowd Releases DH*RMA 2.0

Today organizations have a number of communications tools to engage their employees, business associates and customers. For the vast majority of industries it is as easy as picking up a smartphone and calling or texting someone, but organizations that provide services in healthcare have to follow regulatory compliances to ensure the data and privacy of patients is protected when they communicate. HealthCrowd, an early provider of healthcare mobile messaging, has announced version 2.0 of its DH*RMA platform, which delivers a compliant messaging solution.

The DH*RMA platform was first introduced to the market in 2013, designed to improve the messaging-based campaigns used in healthcare by delivering targeted messages to the right patient at the right time.

The new version uses a holistic and multipronged approach to improve patient behavior by expanding proven methodologies with a wide range of modalities.

This includes:

    MMS

    Chat / IM (instant messaging)

    Email

    IVR (interactive voice response)

    Web / Mobile Web

    Social channels, and

    Paper-based (postcards and traditional mail)

All of the communications methods HealthCrowd uses have to meet the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act in order to be compliant.

With the compliance already in place, the platform gives enterprise customers the ability to deliver tailored communication with the company's propriety procedures to identify and automatically optimize patient preferences using the right channels. Campaigns can be managed throughout the complete lifecycle of engagement with this scalable and flexible platform.

Additionally, the company continuously analyzes customer data to optimize conditions to make the information clear and useful. HealthCrowd's unified platform keeps track of every interaction and automatically improves patient experience for better engagement outcomes while reducing cost. This allows healthcare organizations to be more strategic in their approach, thereby connecting with patients in a more meaningful way.

"We’re committed to helping our customers reach, engage and delight their patients using all of the channels to which they respond best. This latest version reflects our ongoing commitment and, more importantly, enables our customers to be highly cost-efficient with their campaigns while maximizing engagement with their millions of patients or members who they serve," stated Bing Doh, HealthCrowd’s co-founder and CEO.
