Mary Lanning Healthcare Chooses Tegile Systems Storage Solutions

One clear indicator that you are the best at what you do is having your product chosen to be used in a healthcare application. Mary Lanning Healthcare has announced that they will be using storage solutions from Tegile systems. This will involve replacing their current EMC Clarion system with the Tegile Zebi arrays.

Mary Lanning initially tried to boost the performance of their previous legacy EMC Clarion CX3 fiber channel array by adding Sansymphony virtualization software which increased their functionality but they were still limited by the Clarion array. They were also limited due to not only the required number of tech support calls to resolve issues but also the frustration that also accompanied the calls.

Tengile has proven to be the most economical option that fit in their current virtualized IT environment and VMware server while still offering enough capacity to handle the regulatory record keeping requirements in the healthcare industry which can be extremely complicated and daunting.  The Tegile solution fit seamlessly into their system  while offering the flexibility for them to work efficiently that was not present in their previous legacy Clarion array system.

Both Tegile and Mary Lanning are industry leaders. Mary Lanning is a vital, thriving state of the art facility offering advanced healthcare for patients throughout central Nebraska. With a staff of over 1000 Mary Lanning is the largest employer in their area of Adams County. Tegile is a pioneer in the storage array industry and their flagship products are their Zebi line of hybrid storage arrays and their mass technology which increases the performance of the Zebi.  The two industry leaders successfully partner with resulting increase of performance for Mary Lanning achieving 32,000 IOPS where the previous legacy EMC Clarion only achieved 8000 IOPS.
