Meritus Health chooses Explorys' Enterprise for ACO Initiatives

Meritus Health of Baltimore, Maryland has recently selected Explorys’ Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Application Suite to support its Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and to rise to the challenges that many organizations face today, such as disparate health information systems in use across the ACO, which is made up of 199 providers throughout 40 offices. Many of these practices use different EHR systems and some use paper medical records, making it difficult to report ACO performance. Explorys’ cloud-based big data analytics platform will provide Meritus Health with a unified approach to big data management, connecting the different systems and practices and enabling accurate, reliable population health management across the continuum of care.

With the use of Explorys’ EPM and network, Meritus will create one unified data system that aggregates population health data from all of its different programs, giving Meritus the ability to report on ACO performance by provider, office, and ACO levels. This unified care management platform is estimated to minimize manual data abstraction to less than 30 percent.
