Encore Health Resources, a Health Information Technology (HIT) consulting firm, has announced that it has chosen Compuware Changepoint as one of its core business applications.

"We are a virtual consulting business, so we require a solution that could manage every aspect of our services business, from the moment an opportunity leaves Salesforce to revenue recognition within Microsoft Dynamics GP," said Roger Husman, Encore chief administrative officer and chief financial officer. "We also sought a partner that could fully operate in our cloud-based business model for Encore's IT infrastructure."

"Based on work with our large and global customer base, Changepoint has proven that we have the depth of understanding, knowledge and the ability to integrate into a customer's existing infrastructure to effectively support services organizations."

Changepoint is a cloud-based Professional Services Automation (PSA) suite. It will help Encore manage service engagements, from the initial opportunity creation to the final billing. Encore looked at several other solutions but eventually settled on Changepoint.

Changepoint will be integrated into the company’s existing systems serving 400 employees Encore will be able to manage nearly every aspect of its business using Changepoint in one centralized cloud-based location. In addition to PSA, it also includes PPM and business analytics. Customers can choose from either on-premises deployment or cloud.

Compuware was also recently named the top vendor for Deep Application Transaction Management by Research in Action.

“This accolade shows clear recognition of Compuware's market leadership and long history of innovation, execution and delivery," John Van Siclen, general manager of Compuware's APM business unit, said in a statement. “Ultimately, this is great news for Compuware and our customers alike, as we enable them to maximize the return on their investments in enterprise applications."
