Reebok Fitness App Offers Custom Regimens and Expert Tips for Android and iOS

Fitness-related apps are all the rage these days for both Android and iOS smartphones, and now Reebok is joining the trend with its new Reebok Fitness app.

Reebok Fitness is designed for the user to build their own fitness program, and offers guidance to users unsure of the best fitness regimen for them.

“Reebok Fitness is a fitness app and workout program that helps you break out of your fitness routine,” the company states on their website. “You can create your own program, choosing the length of time and the activities you want to do – and receive tips and video tutorials from fitness experts. You will also learn some new moves, keep your workouts interesting and improve your fitness!”

Exercise categories offered by the app include walking, running, dancing, yoga and general training with weights or otherwise. Users are required to choose two or more of the listed activities to start building their program; Reebok encourages users to choose ones they are unfamiliar with.

This is the basic point behind the app is to get users out of their comfort zone and open users up to new and maybe better ways to get fit. Reebok’s app includes tips from world-class fitness experts so that someone choosing “dance” who has never danced before is not left in the dark, and can get off to a great start on their customized program.

The pro-tip option is unique to the Reebok Fitness app, which sets it apart from competing apps such as Nike Training Club or Pocket Yoga, which offer a range of exercises but no tips for beginners unfamiliar with the activity.

When setting up their personalized Reebok Fitness program, users can choose the length they want the program to run (anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks), and are also given workout reminders to keep them on track.

Another feature of Reebok Fitness is that their programs are organized by percentages rather than time slots. The user can create a program that is 25 percent yoga, 50 percent running, and 25 percent general training, for instance, and the program will keep track of whether the percentages are being filled correctly. This helps the user ensure they are dedicating enough time to one activity without focusing too much on the others.

Like other fitness apps, Reebok Fitness has social media integration, which allows you to share your progress with friends, giving users another reason to stick to their plan and not get lazy.

The Google Play store is already offering the Reebok Fitness app for Android, and can be downloaded by clicking here.

For iOS users, the app can be accessed at Apple’s App Store.
