UBM Medica Debuts Improved Diagnosting Imaging with All-inclusive Imaging Solutions Resource

Medical imaging is a field that requires extensive experience to give the right diagnosis to patients. In the past, problems with image quality, as well as the inability to read the images with accuracy, have resulted in misdiagnoses with terrible consequences for the patient. New technology has improved the quality of the images rendered by these new machines.

But reading the images still demands expertise. Providing a source of radiology, professionals can view images and consult with one another. UBM Medica’s Diagnostic Imaging has been re-launched with new tools clinicians and readers can use by providing focus on technology including improved mobile access, practice trends and commentary from professionals in radiology.

The improved mobile access gives radiologists a new platform with which they can access Diagnostic Imaging and its database using the mobile device of their choice. The interface is redesigned with a more streamlined platform to make it easier to view images, as well as finding other resources including videos, podcasts, research articles and case studies.

"Radiologists have traditionally been early adopters of technology. We are excited to provide Diagnostic Imaging in a format that is compatible with the latest advances in mobile technology. Coupled with the updated design and interface, the new site provides an all-around better experience for our audience and advertisers," said Cyndy Finnie, SVP Products & Operations, UBM Medica US.

Today’s healthcare professionals access information in the field using the latest technology available to them. The information has to be delivered with strategic and integrated communication solutions with a comprehensive reach. As part of the UBM Medica organization, Diagnostic Imaging has access to data that consumers, physicians and other businesses in the healthcare field demand.

Making the mobile device part of the information dissemination process for Diagnostic Imaging is a step in the right direction, in order to improve image diagnosis and patient confidence.

The new Diagnostic Imaging gives radiologists with different levels of expertise a resource in the latest development in radiology through the coverage of the industry’s leading conference and meetings. The resources can be accessed through desktop computers, smartphones and tablets.
