No More Excuses: Smart Activity Tracker Get Users Moving

If someone could remind you when you are being physically inactive, if you received the right amount of sleep or how many calories you burned, the excuse that are too busy to focus on your health would no longer be tolerated.

Well now with the great wonders that technology has introduced, there are no more excuses. All you need is an app and a device the size of a USB.

For the first time ever in the development of activity trackers, the Smart Activity Tracker adds pulse measurement to the number of steps taken, strides run, distances covered, calories burned, and quality of sleep that are stored in your Withings Health Mate App.

The device is no larger than a small memory stick, which can easily fit in your pocket or be worn with the belt clip or arm clip that is included. The way that it works is simple. The touchscreen on the front of the device allows you navigate between screens, and the back is where the heart rate sensor is located. All users have to do is place their finger on the sensor, which syncs your results directly to the Withings Health Mate App, where all the data is stored via Bluetooth Smart.

According to Withings Media, the WHO  warns us that physical inactivity is now identified as the fourth leading risk factor for global mortality ( six percent of deaths globally) and is recommending that people take part in daily physical activity or exercise.

With such dire issues affecting the world, the newly developed smart tracker proves to be an important development in technology with lasting effects for the healthcare industry.

People who use the Smart Activity Tracker can set up a way to send to reminders or alerts to themselves about their activity levels directly to their smartphone. With so many devices at our finger tips that eliminate the need to get up from our chairs or leave the office, this feature proves to be an efficient and easy way to encourage physical activity throughout the day.

With the Smart Activity Tracker and Withings Health Mate App available for use there is no reason why people can’t start making healthy changes, especially when it fits right into your pocket.
