Clients of HealthLine Solutions Featured In Top Hospital Lists

Several new lists of top hospitals include clients of HealthLine Solutions, a medical technology company based in Plano, Texas.

Becker's Hospital Review's "100 Great Hospitals for 2012" includes 35 HealthLine clients.  Thomson Reuters' "100 Top Hospitals for 2012" named 20. Three out of twelve hospitals included on Thomson Reuters' "Everest Award Hospitals for 2012," as well as six out of the seventeen hospitals featured in U.S. News and World Report's "Best Hospitals: Honor Roll for 2011-12" were also HealthLine customers.

"We are proud of our clients that are honored for 2012 by Becker’s Hospital Review, Thomson Reuters and U.S. News & World Report,” HealthLine Systems' CEO Dan Littrell said in a statement about his companies' clients being included on the annual lists.   “HealthLine Systems software solutions help clients improve access to care, strengthen relationships with consumers and physicians, move toward paperless provider credentialing, track patient safety incidents and document improvements in quality.”

The company, who does business with over 1,000 health organizations throughout the United States and Canada, is a provider of software and consulting services, as well as barcode based materials management solutions. Their specialties include physician credentialing, quality assurance, contact centers and managed care.

The data software developed by HealthLine including EchoCredentialing, EchoQuality, and EchoAccess assists their clients in keeping the highest standards in healthcare, as well as helping to reduce operating costs and increasing the satisfaction of their patients.

Barcode scanners by HealthLine eliminate the need for daily inventory, and information about items scanned is saved automatically. Restocking can also be easier with tracking and reminders from HealthLine's software.  Patients can also be charged more accurately.

The use of HealthLine's systems can save healthcare providers a significant amount of money as well. One client went from capturing 56 percent of their revenue to 89 percent. Another prevented 5.9 million dollars in lost patient revenue in one year alone.
