Care Communications, Inc. Named an Elite Winner Among Top Chicago Employers
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)--
Care
Communications, Inc. (www.carecommunications.com),
a national health information management (HIM) consulting and staffing
firm, has received the Elite Award for "Recruitment and Selection" from
the National
Association for Business Resources (www.nationalbiz.org),
one of just eleven elite awards given out as part of Chicago's 101
Best and Brightest Companies to Work For 2010 annual awards
competition. This marks the third consecutive year Care Communications
has received an elite award as part of the annualcompetition, winning
honors in the small business category in 2008 and 2009.
"Our clients count on Care Communications providing the HIM industry's
most qualified professionals to support a wide range of HIM initiatives,
from coding support to revenue cycle optimization and medical record
procurement and abstraction," said Patty Thierry Sheridan, MBA, RHIA and
President of Care Communications. "Barbara Black and the Human Resources
team at Care Communications have excelled for years at maintaining the
best selection criteria and hiring processes to ensure we continue to
meet client demand for the industry's top talent, and it's an honor to
receive this recognition, especially in a city that's home to so many of
the nation's top companies."
The "101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" program is presented
annually in three markets: Metro Detroit, Western Michigan and
Chicago. Other Chicago companies honored with elite awards in 2010
include Harrah's Joliet Hotel & Casino, Radio Flyer, Turner Construction
Co, Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, KPMG LLP and Ernst & Young.
"We work in a people business, and we're valued for our trustworthiness
and long-term relationships," said Leslie Fox, CEO at Care
Communications. "I am deeply grateful to everyone who works, or who has
ever worked with us for what I learn from them and for what they share
with our clients. My pledge to present and future Care Communications
employees is that the leadership will continue working as hard as we can
to have an environment in which all employees can continue growing and
taking pride in our collective accomplishments."
The Chicago competition received thousands of entries. An independent
research firm evaluated each company's entry, selected Elite winners
based on their overall high scores and then named each Elite winner in
their highest performing category. The Elite award in the Recruitment
and Selection category recognizes exemplary recruitment methods and
selection processes to screen and select people who best fit the
organization.
