GNAX Health to Exhibit Medical Image Archiving Solution at AHRA Annual Meeting

GNAX Health announced plans to exhibit its innovative solutions in medical image archiving at the AHRA Association for Medical Imaging Management Annual Meeting in Grapevine scheduled to take place in Texas, August 15 - 17, 2011.

AHRA is the professional organization representing management at all levels of hospital imaging departments, freestanding imaging centers and group practices. It arranges annual meetings with an aim to bring professionals together for improving the healthcare environment.

According to GNAX Health, the company is offering a cloud vendor neutral archive (VNA) for medical images that includes all the benefits of a cloud storage solution along with the security of a robust, vendor neutral PACS archive. GNAX Health is capable of normalizing medical images from any PACS system, store them and make them accessible across the organization via any PACS or Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Also, images can be shared outside the hospital or radiology center through the GNAX Health Information Exchange (HIE) and it requires the client to pay only for the amount of storage it used on a monthly basis. This is different from in-house storage solutions that are more expensive.

GNAX Health provides a complete backup and disaster recovery solution for healthcare clients thereby optimizing business continuity for healthcare technology executives. Even during the occurrence of natural disasters like hurricanes and floods it is necessary to ensure that patient information and life-critical applications are accessible. GNAX Health strives to enable this by providing archiving solutions for healthcare providers.

GNAX Health, in its capacity as a healthcare technology infrastructure service provider, helps hospitals, clinics, physicians, pharmacies, labs and other organizations by offering them mission-critical datacenter colocation, managed application delivery, storage and backup, medical image vendor neutral archive (VNA), health information exchange and enterprise level VMware based cloud computing services.
