AirStrip Technologies Hires New Chief Development Officer

AirStrip Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in mobile medical software applications, has appointed Dan Blake, a 25-year technology industry veteran, as chief development officer.

“Dan knows how to develop mobile software and infrastructure solutions that address critical enterprise-level issues. That is a perfect fit as we work to grow our suite of mobile healthcare monitoring solutions globally,” AirStrip Technologies Chief Executive Officer Alan Portela said, in a press release.

AirStrip is ahead of the curve in terms of offering comprehensive mobile patient monitoring solutions for virtually any part of the healthcare setting.

The vast experience and skills of Blake will help keep AirStrip stationed at the forefront of the mobile-enabled health revolution.

Trey Moore, AirStrip’s chief technology officer, added Blake’s experience makes him ideally suited to AirStrip’s commitment to meaningful mobility – using native mobile technology to improve clinical decision-making at the point of care through the secure, real-time delivery of visually compelling patient data.

Meaningful mobility, by optimizing patient throughput and access to care, aims to improve workflow, move beyond geographic barriers, and support the best possible choices by both providers and patients.

Before joining AirStrip Technologies, Blake held several positions including president of ArchiStrat Consulting, Inc., chief technology officer of Nightrader Ltd., chief technology officer of Aon Group, and president/CEO of Aon Risk Technologies.

In his new role with AirStrip, Blake will try to remain adaptable to the constantly changing landscape of mobile devices and operating systems. He will also work towards delivering solutions that support hospitals and physicians in their efforts to comply with federal meaningful use requirements.

In related news, Alan W. Portela has been named CEO of AirStrip Technologies, Inc., company officials announced.
