Turning Point Picks Core Solutions Cx360 Platform

Core Solutions, a company specializing in Electronic Health Record solutions, signed a contract with Turning Point, a specialist in addiction treatment, to implement its Cx360 Provider EHR solution.

Cx360 is an integrated, web-based solution that automates the collection, distribution, processing, reporting and analysis of administrative, financial, and clinical client data for internal staff and external stakeholders.

As indicated, this solution was selected to support the Turning Point Health Information Technology Project, a project funded by the US Department of Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

“We are excited to be working with a leader in the field of alcohol and drug addiction treatment in New Jersey,” Ravi Ganesan, president of Core Solutions said in a press release.

“Turning Point is devoted to providing clients with the level of quality care that can only be achieved through innovative technology and Cx360 will be instrumental in helping achieve this objective,” Ganesan added.

Turning Point said that it has started a project to expand the use of health information technology that can improve access to and outcomes from its addiction treatment programs and services. Turning Point’s implementation of Cx360 is noted to be integrated with NJ SAMS and NJ 211 referral services, and is said to include built-in reporting utilities to provide comprehensive management information specific to New Jersey.

Turning Point’s project is aimed at improving New Jersey’s entire addiction treatment system by making possible an electronic health record (EHR) that will meet the unique documentation, reporting and billing needs of all of the State’s addiction treatment providers.

“Turning Point’s mission is to be a leader in the field of addiction treatment. We are living that mission through the Health Information Technology project. We are pleased to have been selected by SAMHSA to undertake such an important project, and look forward to working with Cx360 to make electronic health records available to New Jersey addiction treatment providers,” Manuel Guantez of Turning Point said in a statement.

By spearheading the development, Turning Point hopes to make the Cx360 financially accessible to other treatment providers that could not otherwise afford to implement an EHR.

Cx360 Provider is certified as a Complete EHR by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT), an ONC-ATCB.
