Patient Access Solutions Earns Contract for Visiting Nurse Service of NY Affiliate with Partners in Care



Patient Access Solutions, Inc recently announced that they have signed a deal with Partners in Care an affiliate with Visiting Nurse Service of New York. The contract is for Patient Access Solutions to provide Mobipen based technological solutions. Partners in Care have provided service since 1983 to patients in New York City with certified home health aides and private-duty nurses. These nurses are experienced, compassionate, reliable, and highly attentive to the patients they care. Partners in Care have more than 8,100 home health aides, RN’s and LPN’s. Partners in Care are Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) and New York State Department of Health accredited.

Patient Access Solutions, Inc will pilot its home healthcare proprietary Mobipen digital pen application in the Partners in Care organization. They plan to use over 300 users at the stage 1 and will generate over $750,000 in revenue. The application will allow field workers to capture patient data and caregiver information digitally and transfer the data to the Partners in Care head office real-time.

In a release, Patient Access Solutions President and CEO Mr. Bruce Weitzberg said, “We look forward to implementing our application with such a fine organization to help increase efficiency and reporting needs of Partners in Care. The advantages of streamlining the client's paper process while improving productivity and providing an operational cost savings were obvious to our client and will provide them the flexibility to focus on and improve patient care.”

Patient Access Solutions Inc (PAS) is focused in providing healthcare solutions to the industry in technology, resources and to bring about an improvement in the healthcare industry towards the information technology environment. Their products are centered on ease of use and robust technological background to process large amounts of data in a short period of time. One of the products is D-PAS, a state-of-the-art digital pen and paper technology which is primarily based on Anoto technology. This system is used to capture hand written information into digital forms and EMR systems.
